We got paid so quick. Normally we have to submit a quote...with the agreement...find a payment button, etc. (This time) I sent it, turned to do something else, and my phone starting going off with "you've been paid" notifications...it's never been so quick...especially over the phone.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

Your program was something you had already thought through. Going back to the very beginning, Trying to find any assistance...really good assistance with people who are qualified out there who help in a consultant business was really, really difficult to find.

Secondly, I needed to focus on my own strategy. Your program asked the tough questions and allowed me to kind of internalize. ... Like first things first. OK? Yeah, you're a consultant. But what are you trying to do? What are you excited about? How can you actually make a difference as opposed to the other brokers around the country. What was I trying to do from the very beginning of my consulting practice?

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

As somebody that likes to get to the end of something as quickly as possible, I really appreciated that you dripped everything out. You forced us to do the homework in order to get to the next stage. I think a lot of entrepreneurs are like that. We think, "Let me just get through everything and I'll do the work later". We never do the work later.

My initial thought was, "Oh this is so frustrating. I can't see what's next." And then I'm like, "This guy's smart. Damn it." So, yeah. I really appreciated that aspect, honestly. I really like how you laid everything out. I thought it was really good.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

The accountability. I've done a lot of different things to work on, grow, and develop my business. At the same time, one of my coaches used to say, "You don't know what you don't know." Every week I knew I had a call to hold me accountable to the right things and watch the process work. That was great.

Also, the personal feedback. Aside from the Thursday call, the fact that you responded to the course work I did and provided personal feedback was so valuable to me. I really value that kind of critical feedback. And there were times you really pushed back. You're really giving real feedback...asking me to explain what I'm doing and justify why I'm doing it. That's important.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

I think the Thursday video conference call was the best part of the training. It did a number of things for me. It provided a huge positive accountability for all the lessons. It's what kept me on track. "I gotta get this done because I know Alzay's going to ask me about this on Thursday."

The other thing about them that I really, really liked was there was an opportunity to get further clarification on a point in one of the modules. I liked the feedback, you're very direct, and it's very, very helpful as well.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

I knew I wanted to start an agency. I've got all this experience and I can work in any industry. So here I am. Now I want to start an agency. Okay, now what? Now everybody says, "Well, you've got to do this, you've got to do that..."

I want to help people. Who do I want to help? I don't know. So I couldn't figure it out and I didn't want a get rich quick scheme. I didn't want somebody to give me any false information, any false pretenses. I wanted honest and that's why I came to the program.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

There are multiple things I enjoy, you know. To list one, it was hard to list one, because the program is so dynamic that there are different aspects of the experience. But if you force me to select one: I love the targeted questions. Because it got me to get out of my head space and just get focused. But I also enjoy the group chats and the roundtable. Just listening to other people's thought processes and their struggles and how they overcame some of the same things that have been going in my head...

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?

The group calls. But the value of the group calls came from the structuring of the program. You know that you were walking into a very organized, set time and things accomplished. I think that structure helped set up the success of the programs.

Furthermore, within the group calls, you're trying to do the exact same thing you're teaching us to do in the program. You are trying to help each of us find a solution to our problem. Each of those group calls consisted of multiple "problem calls" from other people in the program and you are asking us to focus on the most important thing happening in our business.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

The coaching process in itself and interacting with other fellow members, I found your reactivity to responding to each time I find myself stuck in a problem I had immediate feedback, either in the shape of a video demonstration or through the Facebook groups. So that was quite something I appreciated.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

The entire program has exceeded my expectations, and I took joining it very seriously. As I said, it's just exceeded everything I had expected. What I enjoyed most, was the personal attention that I got from you, combined with the fact that the course was self paced, so it was kind of the best of both worlds that I could get to the videos, and the materials when I had time, but I knew that if I shot you an email that you would get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. And that I was able to have access to your brain, I thought that was really valuable.

What did you enjoy MOST about the program?
[edited from the transcript]

I enjoyed the structure. There was a structure, because I've done other programs where there is no structure. A structure is, "Here's Module 1. Read it. Do this. You will be assessed, and then you can ask questions via email and coming on the group call." That's a structure that, as you know, it's milestones that lead you from the start to the end without you straying off course. I enjoyed the structure the most, and your clear responsiveness and client compassion.

Before:
We had the talent. We did good work. We had leadership. We knew where we wanted to go. Systems-wise we knew how to do what we do (but) we had scraps here and there...But what we weren't offering was a straight line.

After:
Our service costs $9,995. We are not selling "websites" or "marketing". We are selling a particular outcome. If we were to sell a smaller version we would be cutting out things that need to be there. We don't sell a larger version because THIS version will take you were you want to go.

Now we are able to say, "28 days, 10 steps, 80 tasks, X price...would you like one?"

Before:
-63,757 emails in his inbox. (Overwhelm was his daily emotion.)
-Sales pipeline was practically empty. (Had existing clients, but no process for new clients.)
-Business was “shrinking”. (Fired his staff of freelancers, b/c of inconsistent workflow)

After:
-Refocused on one “pillar” service. (Eliminated any service under $1000)
-Refined his client acquisition process. (Two new client inquiries in a week ~$6k worth of business)
-Rebuilt his team. (Replaced multiple freelancers with one critical employee)

Alzay Calhoun has created a great, concise program that solves a fundamental problem - one that entrepreneurs and business owners may not truly realize they have - a deep, intrinsic understanding of their raison d'etre, their why ... which is key to both understanding their own motivation, as well as as their marketplace differentiation. By identifying and articulating this, they are able to attract their ideal clients more easily and steadily.

The program also helps you outline your best package of services to optimize productivity and streamline the business to increase profits with less work.

My colleague, Peter LaPore, and I worked with Alzay to develop an outstanding process to streamline, redefine and revitalize our consulting services. The thing that struck me most was it made me feel like I should've been doing this all along. Alzay's process is simple to understand and compels you to articulate what you are offering so that everyone can understand it. He truly is a marketing genius and an exceptionally keen observer. I would recommend that anyone looking to start, grow or revitalize their business contact Alzay right away.
